Italian Cinema Focus




Poster and Visual Identity Design for the Italian Cinema Focus program by @zawyacinema with an homage to the radical artist, poet and filmmaker Pier Paolo Pasolini, on the occasion of his 100th birthday. The selection tfor this edition is bound together by great and poetic storytelling, which is why I used details of blown-up images of paramount Italian Paintings, from open-source archives, that tell stories that became timeless. Paired with a modernized take on the design elements and layout of manuscripts, and also using the “Gold Frame” as a way to present the movie stills as “Paintings”.
